Deer of BoxfordWhen my mom yelled from downstairs that there were deer outside I did not think I would be taking this picture. I grabbed my camera from my room and ran outside in my pajamas with no shoes on. I chased them for 30 minutes in late November trying to get as close as I could before they ran away. When they all looked at me I lined up my frame, took about 15 pictures and looked down at my camera in disbelief. Then I sprinted inside to show my family.
November 27th 2017, Boxford Massachusetts The Milky Way Over Uncle Tim's BridgeThe reason I first got a camera was to take pictures of the the milky way and the moon. The moon proved to be pretty easy, I just got a special lens aimed and shot. But for years I tried to get a picture of the milky way and was unable to. I started just in my front yard, aiming my camera toward the night sky and taking a picture. Then I went places trying to get cool foregrounds in my shots and stars in the background hoping one day the milky way would be in the background of one of my night tie shots but I had no luck. I thought my camera wasn't capable of taking pictures of it. Finally in 2018 I did some research on how to photograph the milky way. Turns out it's only possible to get good pictures of it only a couple days a month when the there is a new moon and that's if it's not cloudy. And it is in a specific direction so even if I was out one of the possible nights, chances are I still wouldn't have gotten it. I did my research in the middle of the school year and the couple of days of the month where it was possible was during the school week and it was too late for me to go out. I had to wait four months and then on the day of the night I wanted to go for it my parents told me we were going to Cape Cod. This was going to make it even harder because there were limited places I could go. I knew I only had one shot for the month and I was able to capture this shot on a foot bridge at 2 AM and I couldn't be more proud of it.

Moountains
I went to Spain on an exchange program in February of 2019. My parents told me I shouldn't bring my camera and drone because they would probably break. I decided to not listen to them and I'm so happy I didn't. At the time my host family took me to this crazy zip line over a lake. It was one of the craziest things I have ever done. while we were walking there I had my camera in my hand and the mountains looked so beautiful. Then I saw this farm. I asked my host family if I could go really quickly and they said it was private property and I couldn't. My Spanish friend saw how bad I wanted to go and he asked again. They said maybe after. After the zip line we talked to the zip line and they said it was fine but the woman asked me why I wanted to take a picture of those ugly cows. I realized I would be able to get an insane picture of the cow with the mountains in the background. We went through some mud and climbed over a fence and I was alone with the cows. One of the cows started walking towards me and I got nervous. I thought he was going to charge me or something. He got pretty close and stopped where he was. I lined up my shot took a bunch of pictures and hopped back over the gate. A lot of my friends and family consider this my best picture and I am incredibly happy with it.
